Smashbox Step-by-step Contour Kit Review
I'm sorry that I've been so distant lately I have exams coming up in a week so I've been studying super hard. Today I decided to do a review on the Smashbox Step-by-step Contour Kit.

The bronzer is a warm toned brown very nice for adding a bit of a summery bronzed look to the face. The contour shade is a cool toned grey/brown shade quite nice for creating that shadow-like effect for contouring and is the perfect contour shade for fairer skin like myself. The highlight shade in my opinion could have been a little lighter as it is very close to my skin colour (I took the light kit as I'm quite pale, there are darker kits too) and doesn't really do much for me in the highlighting department, it's a peachy cool toned shade.
I recommend using a large fluffy brush for instance I use a fluffy kabuki brush for the bronzer as it'll give you a natural bronzed look without using to much product. For the contour shade and highlighting shade I use the little contour brush that comes with it as it's good for more targeted areas due to it's small angled shape.
In my opinion if you can't afford to buy this kit don't stress to much, there are tons of much cheaper kits you can get on the market. For instance the Factorie Makeup Makeout contour kit is less then half the price (R250) has 6 shades - including an everyday blush - and does the exact same job the only difference is it isn't as pigmented so more product may have to be used for application. Personally I doubt I'd go back and repurchase the Smashbox kit just because it is so expensive but it is a very nice kit to have and I'm glad I did get to try it out.
