Top 5 April Faves

I've decided that every month I'm going to do a top 5 beauty product favourites of the month. I really love these products that I've decided to show you and I definitely recommend them.
Here are my top 5 makeup faves from the month of April:

♡ Essence Multi-Action Volume Mascara - R47.95
I love this mascara because it's not only very inexpensive but also does what it's supposed to do. It adds volume and length with a perfectly dark black pigmentation what more can you ask for from a mascara?

♡ Revlon Colorstay Stay Active with SPF 25 in "001 Buff" - R299
This is one of my favourite foundations for day to day use as it is oil-free and sweat proof so lasts the entire day. I have a combination skin so my t-zone gets pretty oily especially on hot days and it definitely stays put and doesn't need touch ups or blotting during the day. It is a light to medium coverage foundation for all skin types and it is lightweight and breathable with a natural mattifying finish that doesn't feel cakey on the skin.

♡ Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser -  R89.95
This is a lightweight transparent gel primer that smoothes and blurs pores to create a poreless looking skin. If you use this under your foundation make sure to use a very little bit as it can get slightly oily if to much is used. It definitely doesn't erase the pores but it is good at filling in lines and creating the illusion of smaller pores without clogging them or causing breakouts. I really do love this primer for around my cheek area where my largest pores are.

♡ MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in "NW 15" - R 295
This is my go-to, concealer gold mine. This is my absolute favourite concealer. It has a smooth natural finish and is amazing at covering under eye circles and imperfections. Definitely a little pricey for a concealer but I'd say it's a must for any makeup geek. It has a medium to high coverage and is perfect for any skin type.

♡ MAC Satin Lipstick in "Cyber" - R220
I looove this colour...it's a deep purple but isn't as dark on the lips as it is in the tube. (It almost looks black in the tube) MAC lipsticks are my absolute fave, they are ultra long lasting and very pigmented and don't create a dry look. This particular lipstick is a satin finish meaning it drys with a shine and keeps the lips moisturized. The colour is deep, beautiful and perfect for that popular vampy look.
