My Current Beauty Favourites
Hi everyone so in this post I thought I would share my current favourite beauty products.
I'm usually combo/oily in Summer so my skin has been a little drier due to the current Winter climate. To combat this dry skin I've been using the Isabella Garcia revitalising mask a couple nights a week which really hydrates my skin. After applying it I leave it on for 10 minutes and wash it off. Aftwards my skin feels so soft and hydrated.
Although my skin is super dry it still gets oily around my nose and I have enlarged pores around my nose and cheeks. I use the Benefit Porefessional around my my T zone to combat oil and enlarged pores. It is my go to primer every single day.
I've really been loving the Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation, I'm in the shade 010 Light Beige. It's really good for oily skin and dries completely matte with a medium to high coverage. I wouldn't recommend this foundation for drier skin types as it is made for oilier to combo skin. I apply this with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and then pat it in with my Urban Studio Precision Blending Sponge (which I've been obsessed with), I also set it with a powder after I've applied concealer. It has a slight scent to it which I don't really mind, it is very liquidy and comes with a dropper.
My absolute favourite concealer from the drugstore is the Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer. I have the shade 010 Porcellain. It is very high coverage, slightly thickish concealer with a doe foot applicator. I love this stuff I recommend it to everybody. This and my Tarte Shape Tape are my go tos.
The Benefit Rollerlaah Mascara has been my favourite mascara for a while. This mascara is really nice for lengthening and curling my lashes. I'm quite picky with mascara so this one gets a nice big thumbs up.
My Current favourite lip product at the moment is the Colourpop Ultra Matte in the shade Aquarius 2. It's a beautiful cool toned brown/pink nude. Really recommend it for fairer skin tones like myself.
I have quite a few eyeshadow palettes that I rotate and use equally. But my current favourite palette that I've been reaching for the most is the Tarte Tartelette in Bloom palette. I'm a sucker for warm shadows and this palette is just such a staple warm toned palette. The shadows are smooth, super pigmented and buttery with little kick up. It's a definite must have in anyones collection.
As I have been using a more drier foundation I love to hydrate and set my face with the Mac Prep + Prime Fix +. I spray it on before I do anything makeup wise on my face and then I also set my face with it after makeup application and at it in with my sponge. It works great for setting my foundation all day and hydrating my face.
My absolute favourite makeup sponge I use everyday is the Precision Blending Sponge from Urban Studio (R75 from Dischem). Once dampened it is super soft and bouncy; it's the softest sponge I've used. I even have a backup so you must know. It's a dupe for the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge but better in my opinion.
