My Anti-Haul
Hey loves! So I would like to start off by saying sorry I've been away for so long. I just finished my first year of studies and it was super stressful. I am studying a degree in Graphic Design and am really enjoying it. I will be in my second year this year and I really can't wait to get started again, not only in my studies, but also in blogging. One of my new years resolutions is to blog more frequently. For my first post of 2018 I thought I would do an Anti-Haul. I love watching these on youtube and thought I would do my own quick little blog version a couple times a year. So here we go:
1) Tarte Cosmetics Shape Tape Foundation Hydrating and Matte
I know there was a huge amount of controversy around this launch and I totally agree that the shade range was appalling and completely disregarded half of the brands consumer market. Not only is this the reason I am not interested in this product but also because it is not available in South Africa and thus I am weary of ordering the product online and not getting the right shade as it is R600. This and from the reviews I've seen, the product isn't all that unique. Although I do love the concealer!
2) Juvias Place Festival Palette
I'm just personally not a fan of Juvias Place eyeshadows. I used to have two of their palettes but I almost find them too pigmented and a weird texture which I find hard to blend. I am also not a fan of the colour scheme. Although I do agree these shadows are formulated to be extremely pigmented so as to show up on darker complexions. Its just due to my personal preference that this will be a pass for me.
3) Becca Cosmetics The Ocean Jewels Highlighter Palette
Again this is just personal preferece as I do really love Becca Cosmetics shimmering skin perfectors and other Becca products. I do adore the packaging of this product but I am just not a fan of funky colour highlighters such as the ones in this palette. So because I know for a fact that I will not use this I will be passing on it.
4) Colourpop Give it to me Straight Pressed Eyeshadow Palette
I went on a full on Colourpop binge last year and bought every palette they launched like a crazy person. Only afterwards did I realise there wasn't really a need for every single one. I am also not a massive fan of berry tones and I already have many warm tone shadows. So I will be passing on this palette even though I am a huge fan of their formula.
5) Too Faced White Peach Palette
To be honest I just found this palette looks extremely boring and many of the shades look very similar. For this reason I'm giving it a pass even though I do think the packaging is pretty.

6) Pat McGrath Lip Fetish
I wanted to end on something almost comical ( well to meπ) This is a $38! Lip balm...I think just in saying this you guys know why I will be passing on this. Again I do still think the packaging is very pretty!
