My Beauty Wish List for 2018 (So far)

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a good week so far. I have a long list of beauty products that are on my makeup want/need (it's need guys) list. I thought I'd share a few of the things I've wanted for ages as well as products that have just recently been added to the list. This is not everything on my list but more the products that Ive been dying for the most. I'm going to list the category of products in the order that I would usually apply them and then have a short description and reason for wanting to purchase them.
  • Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer R495
This primer is meant to fill in larger pores and mattify the skin. I'd like to get this Smashbox primer as I currently use the Benefit Porefessional and I'm interested in trying a similar alternative primer as I find the Porefessional does work but it is more oily then I would like.

  • Inglot HD Foundation R499
I got a sample of this foundation a while ago and really enjoyed it. It really made my skin look airbrushed, flawless and lasted all day. I am not sure why I keep putting off buying this foundation because many people I know really enjoy it. I think it is probably because I haven't really seen any reviews online or on youtube so I haven't been urged to buy it. It is on my list to buy once I finish one of my current foundations because I've also always wanted to try Inglot products as I've heard such good things.

  • Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear 24H Foundation R499
I've always wanted to try products from Lancome and what better product to try out than a foundation? This foundation has a buildable coverage, is good for combo skin and has a satin matte finish. I'm getting over wearing very heavy feeling foundations so I would like to try this one at some point and see how I like it.

  • Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer (Fair Neutral) R395
I've seen tons of people talk about this concealer and I see it in almost everybodies makeup collection. I'd like to test and see if it's worth the hype. It doesn't seem to be as full coverage or as thick as the Tarte Shape Tape which I think would be good for everyday sort of makeup when I'm not in the mood to wear full coverage.
  • Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder (Translucent) $24
This is a loose translucent powder and many UK beauty influencers rave about this product. It apparently also has no flashback and works well in giving the skin an airbrushed finish. It made me really curious to try it for myself as I haven't heard much about the brand.

  • Marc Jacobs Omega Bronzer in Tan Tastic $49
Kathleen Lights (my favourite youtuber amongst many others) loves this product, that is one of the main reasons I would like to try it. It was limited edition last year but it is apparently coming out again later this year as a permanent product. It has a beautiful, luxurious white clutch compact and a huge pan size (a large amount of product). It does have a coconut scent which I am usually not a fan of but I'm sure I could live through that if it is a good product. I know for a fact that this bronzer is going to cost quite a lot as I will have to get it imported but I do believe it will be worth it.

  • Becca Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer in Capri Coast $38
I've always wanted to try more products from Becca Cosmetics and I've seen many reviews about this bronzer, specifically the shade Capri Coast (the second to lightest shade). Many paler people I know have tried it and really enjoy it so I would also like to give it a try. (I'd like to try this shade as well as Bali Sands which is the lightest shade and has a cooler tone)

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette $42
Last year I wen't a bit crazy with the palettes and bought without thinking. This year I want to be more mindful in what I purchase. This new palette from Anastasia is apparently launching in March and I am a huge fan of the neutral tones. I am a huge fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills products so I will definitely be picking this up once it launches.

  • Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal $38
This highlighter has been raved about for ages and is a cult favourite. I have the shade Champagne Pop which is unfortunately a tad too deep for my skin tone but I really do enjoy the formula. I'd love to get a shade that is better suited for my skintone such as the shade Opal which is a unique cool champagne shade.

  • Mac Liptensity Lipstick in Driftwood R300
I am a big fan of Mac lipsticks and have recently gone off wearing liquid lipsticks as often as I used to because they can become quite drying. The liptensity range not only has beautiful packaging but also has a moisturising formula rather then a matte one. The colour Driftwood is a cool tone pink nude which are my favourite to wear due to my pale skintone.

  • Skin Creamery Facial Hydrating Oil R310
This brand is a proudly South African brand that I've been wanting to try for eons! Their packaging is to die for and the products have been raved about locally since they launched. This facial oil claims to sink into the skin quickly once mixed with water, doesn't leave an oily residue, nourishes the skin from within and helps smooth fine lines. I've been wanting to add a good facial oil to my regime for ages and I think I'm going to treat myself to this product very soon.
  • Skin Creamery The Everyday Cream for Face & Body R295
Once again another product from Skin Creamery. I've heard great things about this cream being super hydrating and being easily absorbed into the skin (which is what I look for the most in my moisturisers). It is apparently for all skin types so I am thinking of buying this to replace my current moisturiser (Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel) once it runs out.
  • Skin Creamery Oily-Milk Cleanser R320
As you can see I really want to try Skin Creamery's products. My current moisturiser and face wash are about to finish so I'd like to replace them with these products. The Oil-Milk Cleanser claims to effortlessly remove even waterproof makeup while still being gentle enough to use around the eyes. It also claims to nourish the skin and condition brows and eyelashes due to the unique oils used.
